DFB-Pokal 2014-15 was the 72nd season of the annual German football cup competition. It began on 15 August 2014 with the first of six rounds and ended on 30 May 2015 with the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. In the 2014–15 DFB-Pokal, Bayern Munich entered as the two-time defending champions, having defeated Borussia Dortmund in the 2014 final. However, Bayern’s reign ended in the semi-finals when they were eliminated by Dortmund in a dramatic penalty shootout.
In the final, VfL Wolfsburg faced Borussia Dortmund and triumphed 3–1, claiming their first-ever DFB-Pokal title.
