Notes: Since Paris Saint-Germain, the winners of the 2024–25 Coupe de France, had already qualified for the UEFA Champions League through their league position, the European qualification spots allocated through the domestic cup were redistributed. As a result, the UEFA Europa League berth normally reserved for the cup winner was passed down to the sixth-placed team in Ligue 1. Consequently, the UEFA Conference League berth, which would have gone to the sixth-placed team, was passed further down to the seventh-placed team. This redistribution ensured that France maintained its full quota of teams in European competitions.
Relegation play-offs
The 2024–25 season will conclude with a relegation play-off between the 16th-placed Ligue 1 team and the winner of the semi-final of the Ligue 2 play-off on a two-legged confrontation.
