FA Cup 2019–20 Champions, matches, scorers and facts

FA Cup 2019–20 was the 139th edition of the oldest football tournament in the world. It was sponsored by Emirates and known as The Emirates FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. On 13 March 2020, the FA Cup, along with the rest of professional football in England, was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Football Association (FA) later announced on 29 May 2020 that the competition would restart, with the quarter-finals rescheduled for 27 and 28 June, and the final set for 1 August. All remaining matches, including the final, were played behind closed doors.
The 2020 FA Cup Final was branded as the “Heads Up FA Cup Final” to promote positive mental health, a campaign led by Prince William, president of The Football Association. The defending champions, Manchester City, were eliminated by Arsenal in the semi-finals on 18 July. Arsenal went on to win the final 2–1 against Chelsea, securing their fourteenth FA Cup title, their first since 2017, and fourth in seven years.
