Club World Cup 2013 was the 10th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organized international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation’s league champions.
The 2013 FIFA Club World Cup was hosted by Morocco and took place from 11 to 21 December 2013. Defending champions Corinthians did not qualify, having been eliminated in the round of 16 of the 2013 Copa Libertadores. The winners of that competition, Atlético Mineiro, were defeated in the semi-finals by Moroccan club Raja Casablanca. Raja’s journey to the final made them the first club to participate in all four rounds of the tournament, starting from the play-off for the quarter-finals. However, they were unable to secure a historic win, as Bayern Munich, the European champions, triumphed 2–0 in the final, claiming their first FIFA Club World Cup title.
