Copa del Rey 2024-25 officially branded as the Copa del Rey MAPFRE for sponsorship reasons, marks the 123rd edition of Spain’s premier domestic cup competition. The winners will secure a place in the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League league phase. Both the champions and runners-up will qualify for the four-team 2026 Supercopa de España. Athletic Bilbao entered as the defending champions, having defeated Mallorca in the previous final. However, they were eliminated in the round of 16 by Osasuna. Barcelona won the final against Real Madrid at La Cartuja in Seville on 26 April 2025.

Round of 16 Draw
The draw for the round of 16 of the 2024–25 Copa del Rey took place on 8 January 2025 at the RFEF headquarters in Las Rozas. The qualified teams were divided into four groups based on their division in the 2024–25 season. Whenever possible, matches were hosted at the stadiums of the lower-ranked teams. If both teams belonged to the same division, the first team drawn played at home.
