UEFA Super Cup 2020 was the 45th edition of the annual football match organized by UEFA, featured Bayern Munich, the winners of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, and Sevilla, the winners of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League. The match was held at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, on 24 September 2020.
Bayern Munich emerged victorious, winning the match 2–1 after extra time, thereby securing their second UEFA Super Cup title.

In the 2020 UEFA Super Cup, Sevilla took an early lead when they were awarded a penalty after 13 minutes. Ivan Rakitić was blocked and bundled over in the penalty area by David Alaba, leading to a penalty kick. Lucas Ocampos converted the penalty, shooting to the left corner to put Sevilla ahead. Bayern Munich equalized in the 34th minute when Leon Goretzka scored with a side-foot finish to the left corner of the net, following an assist from Robert Lewandowski.
The match went into extra time, and in the 104th minute, Javi Martínez scored the decisive goal for Bayern Munich with a powerful header into the top left corner of the net. The goal came after Sevilla’s goalkeeper Yassine Bounou had punched the ball back into play, allowing Martínez to capitalize and secure a 2–1 victory for Bayern Munich.
