UEFA Super Cup 2010 was the 35th UEFA Super Cup, between the reigning champions of the two club competitions organized by the European football governing body UEFA. The 2010 UEFA Super Cup was held at the Stade Louis II in Monaco on 27 August 2010. The match was contested between Inter Milan, the 2009–10 UEFA Champions League winners, and Atlético Madrid, the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League champions. It marked the first appearance for both clubs in the UEFA Super Cup. As part of a trial initiated during the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, two additional officials, stationed on each goal line, were used during this match.
