FIFA Club World Cup 2019

The 2019 FIFA Club World Cup was the 16th edition of the tournament, organized by FIFA and featuring the champions of the six continental confederations, along with the host nation’s league champions. It was held in Qatar from 11 to 21 December 2019, across two venues in Al Rayyan.
Real Madrid, who had won the previous three Club World Cup titles, were unable to defend their crown after being knocked out in the round of 16 of the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League. Liverpool, the eventual winners of that competition, claimed their first Club World Cup title. They defeated Mexican club Monterrey 2–1 in the semi-finals and overcame Flamengo 1–0 in the final after extra time.
