Coupe de France 2009–10 marked the 93rd edition of France’s most prestigious cup competition, organized by the French Football Federation. As in previous years, the tournament was open to all clubs in French football, including those from overseas departments and territories such as Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Réunion. The final was held on 1 May 2010 at the Stade de France. Guingamp entered the competition as the defending champions, having triumphed over Rennes 2–1 in the previous season’s final.
